These terms govern your use of DayOut (“the app”), published by Moksha. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
DayOut helps you discover and plan day trips around London and the UK, with route estimates, weather, and a curated places guide. Core features are free to use.
Your account
- You can browse as a guest, or create an account (email or Sign in with Apple) to sync trips across devices.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account & privacy, which permanently removes your cloud data.
Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse the app — for example, by attempting to disrupt the service, access it in unauthorised ways, or use it unlawfully.
Information accuracy
Travel times, costs, opening hours, weather, and place details are estimates from third-party sources and may be out of date or inaccurate. Always check official sources before you travel. DayOut is a planning aid, not a booking or ticketing service.
Third-party content and links
The app may show data and links from third parties (e.g. maps, weather, place listings). We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or websites.
Support and donations
Any optional support/tip is voluntary and non-refundable, and does not grant additional features.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information.
Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
